Henry Trebert Rites
Last rites for Henry L. F. Trebert, founder of the old Trebert Engine Works here more than 50 years ago, were held today. Burial was in Mt, Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Trebert died Friday (Nov 23, 1951) at Thompson Memorial Hospital in Canandaigua. He had live in Canandaigua for the last 30 years. He was 84. His city home the first 50 years of his life was at Oxford St. and East Ave. He was born in Pittsford.
In 1901, he won an auto race from New York to Buffalo in a car he designed and constructed. He is survived by his son, Henry L. F. Trebert Jr.
